Franceschi Golf Design works alongside investors, golf clubs, public agencies, and tourism and hospitality facilities in the design, redevelopment, and enhancement of golf facilities.
The goal is to create golf courses and destinations capable of combining quality of the playing experience, economic sustainability, landscape integration and land enhancement.
With expertise ranging from architecture to strategic planning, each project is followed from the earliest stages of study to construction through an established network of specialized professionals.

Casentino Golf Club
Project to expand the course from 9 to 18 holes and 2 holes constructed, in collaboration with Dr. Paolo Croce.
Verona Golf Club

Thomas Franceschi
Architect and Golf Designer
He has been practicing golf since the age of eight and has been competing at the national level since his teens. After graduating from the University of Florence with a degree in Architecture, he embarked on a career path dedicated to the design and restyling of golf facilities.
From 2018 to 2021, he is appointed by Coni as the regional deputy sports facility technician
Since 2018, he has been a lecturer at the National Golf School, where he teaches Golf Course Architecture and Restyling.
From 2020 to 2025, he served as Technical Advisor to the Italian Golf Federation.
He collaborates regularly with nationally and internationally prominent professionals including Alvise Rossi Fioravanti, Baldovino Dassù, Paolo Croce and Jeremy Pern.
Umberto Franceschi
Architect and Golf Designer
A graduate in Architecture from the University of Florence with honors, he has combined his profession with his passion for golf for more than four decades.
Over the years, he has gained significant experience in the management and development of golf facilities, holding senior positions within the Cosmopolitan Golf & Country Club.
He was president of Cosmopolitan Golf & Country Club and a member of the Ryder Cup Promoting Committee that led Italy to host the world’s most important event dedicated to golf.
His management experience and in-depth knowledge of the industry is an important contribution in project planning and development activities.

Franceschi Golf Design operates through an established network of professionals specializing in the fields of agronomy, irrigation, land modeling and construction .
Major collaborations include professionals of recognized international experience such as Jeremy Pern, Alvise Rossi Fioravanti, Baldovino Dassù, Paolo Croce and James Massarenti.
